Classification:

Lime kiln has various types. According to the fuel, the lime kiln can be classified into mixed combustion kiln which burns solid fuel, coke, coke breeze, coal and so on; gas kiln which burns furnace gas, coke oven gas, acetylene tail gas, producer gas, natural gas etc. According to the shape of the kiln, the lime kiln can be categorized into vertical kiln, rotary kiln, annular shaft kiln, MAERZ kilns (Switzerland) and so on. Working Principle and Process:

Limestone and fuel are loaded into the kiln (gas burner of fuel through pipes and into) preheating to 850 c begins to decompose. 1200 degrees to complete calcination, then cooled and removed from the kiln. Different furnace has different ways to preheating, burning, cooling and dust. However, the same principles are high quality raw materials, good lime quality; high calorific value fuel, consuming less quantity; limestone particle size is positive proportional to burning time; raw and calcined lime reactivity, calcination is inversely proportional to temperature.

Structure of Lime Kiln:

Lime kiln is mainly made up of kiln body, feeding equipment, distributing devices, incendiary devices, the ash discharging device, electrical, instrumentation, control equipment, dust collecting system and other components. For different forms of lime kiln, its structures and burning forms differ in the form process is basically the same, but the value of the equipment is very different.
